I just couldn’t wait to get home today. By 4pm I was visualizing steaks and mashed cauliflower. I had already marinated the steak in, well, salt and pepper in the morning. I had some leftover bechamel sauce from yesterday’s grilled dory and I had bought the cauliflower and was browsing epicurious for a cauliflower side dish to match the steak.
Luckily I found a mashed cauliflower recipe and was dying to try it.
Once I got home, I cut the cauliflower into small florets and with 2 cloves of garlic I just boiled it for about 10minutes and put it all in the blender and blend it until it’s semi smooth. Plonk the rest of the bechamel and voila!
Hubby thought it was mashed potato!! Will definitely try it again!
